THE SECRET SEX APPEAL OF OLDER WOMEN!

Every other day of the week there’s a new fitness craze that promises a svelte body and healthy heart; whether it’s HIIT, AMRAP, stand-up paddleboarding or simply power walking, so many of us spend our lives on a quest to arrive in exercise nirvana but never really believe we’ve found it. The real secret to getting fit is much simpler than you might think: you need to enjoy it.

I am a reformed exercise-phobe for that very reason. Never the “sporty one” at school, I grew up feeling that exercise wasn’t something that I was cut out to do; reading books, which was my activity of choice, never went hand in hand with the hockey or netball that only a select few at school could be a part of. Like so many, because I wasn’t deemed “good” at sport, I didn’t enjoy it and subsequently stopped doing it.
