Fantastic bolognese ragu

Ingredients:

500 g minced 🥩 beef
1 onion, finely chopped 🧅
2 garlic cloves, minced 🧄
2 carrots, cut 🥕 into small cubes
2 celery stalks, cut 🌿 into small cubes
800 g diced tomatoes (canned) 🍅
2 tbsp tomato paste 🍅
350 ml beef stock 🥣
2 tbsp olive oil 🫒
1 teaspoon dried oregano 🌿
1 teaspoon dried basil 🌿
Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
Fresh basil for garnish 🌿
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional) 🧀
Spaghetti or other pasta of your choice 🍝

Instructions:

Preparation:
Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. 🫒🔥
Add the finely chopped onion, garlic, carrots and celery. Saute until vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes. 🧅🧄🥕

To add meat:
Add the ground beef to the pan and sauté until the meat is browned. Make sure to crumble the meat well while baking. 🥩🍳
Tomatoes and herbs:
Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth. Stir well. 🍅🥣
Add the dried oregano and basil. Season with salt and pepper. 🌿🧂

To simmer:
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer gently uncovered for at least 1.5 to 2 hours. Stir occasionally. This helps the flavors develop properly. 🍲⏳
Serve:
Cook the spaghetti or pasta according to the instructions on the package. 🍝
Serve the bolognese ragù over the cooked pasta. Garnish with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese if desired. 🌿🧀
