Fantastic bolognese ragu
Ingredients:
500 g minced ๐ฅฉ beef
1 onion, finely chopped ๐ง
2 garlic cloves, minced ๐ง
2 carrots, cut ๐ฅ into small cubes
2 celery stalks, cut ๐ฟ into small cubes
800 g diced tomatoes (canned) ๐
2 tbsp tomato paste ๐
350 ml beef stock ๐ฅฃ
2 tbsp olive oil ๐ซ
1 teaspoon dried oregano ๐ฟ
1 teaspoon dried basil ๐ฟ
Salt and pepper to taste ๐ง
Fresh basil for garnish ๐ฟ
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional) ๐ง
Spaghetti or other pasta of your choice ๐
Instructions:
Preparation:
Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. ๐ซ๐ฅ
Add the finely chopped onion, garlic, carrots and celery. Saute until vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes. ๐ง

To add meat:
Add the ground beef to the pan and sautรฉ until the meat is browned. Make sure to crumble the meat well while baking. ๐ฅฉ๐ณ
Tomatoes and herbs:
Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth. Stir well. ๐

Add the dried oregano and basil. Season with salt and pepper. ๐ฟ๐ง
To simmer:
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer gently uncovered for at least 1.5 to 2 hours. Stir occasionally. This helps the flavors develop properly. ๐ฒโณ
Serve:
Cook the spaghetti or pasta according to the instructions on the package. ๐
